Post 2 - My Career
When I was 10 years old, I wanted to be veterinarian, I have always loved animals so I wanted to take care of them, but later I realized that could not see them dying in my hands, so I discard that option. After that, I didn't know to study, no career appealed to me, but before entering the University had in mind to study Psychology and Criminal Law. Few months before my college career, I started to look at all my options and I found the career of anthropology. It caught my attention their subjects as also its working field. Although in the beginning I was afraid of everything new that was coming, since being in region I had to get to Santiago alone, my experience at the University has been very good, I have met wonderful friends, people and new situations me that helped me to grow. Since I entered the University and specifically this race I liked the idea of being an archaeologist, to study the past and specifically animals, being the mention of zooarchaeology as my future speciality.
And you stranger, what did you want to be when you grew up?

Hi! It's very difficult to decide what to study, and being from outside Santiago makes it even more complicated. I think it's great that you finally linked your interest in animals and archeology, it's an area unknown to us before entering anthropology, but knowing it becomes very attractive.

Hi! I really liked your post, when I was a child, I wanted to be a veterinarian too, but discarded the option for the same reasons. Leaving your homeland must be tough, tho I'm sure you'll be very happy here and make many friends at university just as I did. I wish you the best of lucks!
